RE: Two Exchange 2003 servers and OWA |

Yes, is order for the OWA server to open a mailbox on another server, the OWA
server must be a front end server. If OWA is not a front end server, the
browser gets redirected to the URL of the 2nd Exchange server which is not
accessable from the internet and that is why you get the error. When the OWA
server is configured as a front end server, it acts as a proxy to your back
end server and displays the mailbox without redirecting the browser.

Do I need a front end - back end configuration? I'm having trouble finding
documentation for FE BE configuration.
Can both the Front end and backend contain mailboxes? |
