I am using Microsoft Exchange in the company and I am just adding the
POP3 account in MS Outlook to enable the user to send internet
emails. Now I want to share one POP3 account between more than one
exchange account. All users in the department should be able to login
and read the incoming & outgoing POP3 message for that common account.

I don't think you can do what you wish if Outlook is checking the mail. Do
you have a registered domain name If not, get one - then set up a shared
mailbox in Exchange for the address you wish, and set up permissions for
these users to access it. Don't use POP for your Internet mail - let
Exchange handle it all. If you don't have a registered domain name, there
are third party POP connectors you can install on your Exchange server, but
they aren't recommended practice - although it would still be better than
what you're using now. |
