Hi,

I am posting this in the hope that someone will be able to assist me.

I am looking to configure our current Exchange server running E2K, to append
a legal disclaimer to all out-going mail as well as do the same, when we
move to E2K3. I have been looking around various websites, and so far I
have found the following article explaining how to do this for Exchange 5.5

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;262097

Can anybody assist me with this? I am most grateful for any information
that is provided.

Many thanks

My, that's a scarily close name you have. :)

There is this for Exchange 200x:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;317327

However, note this doesn't work for MAPI (Outlook) clients.

You'll be better off with something like:
http://www.exclaimer.co.uk
or
http://www.gfi.com/news/en/mes8freedisc.htm
or
http://www.nemx.com

I would recommend EXclaimer
(www.exclaimer.com).

If you need a really robust toolset that includes the disclaimer, I would
suggest GFI Mail Essentials. There is a disclaimer portion of the software
will work after the 60 day trial for the software expires.

There are a ton of toolsets out there that can accomplish this goal
effectively. Here are links to some websites with information regarding the
various toolsets available:
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/content_control.htm

http://www.msexchange.org/pages/search.asp?query=disclaimer
http://www.policypatrol.com

If you are looking to add a disclaimer to all outbound SMTP messages and
don't want to spend a lot of money and have someone that is familiar with
VBScript as well as Exchange and SMTP event sinks, you may want to review
this KB article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;317327
