I get around 150 error messages saying
"Access denied to file"
"\\EXCHANGE\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes\info FW: Cheap! in use."
These are particular spam or virus emails. I would assume all I have
to do is delete these files but they can't be found in the info
mailbox. Where is \\EXCHANGE\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes pointing
to?
\\EXCHANGE is the name of my server.
Thanks for the help.

Note - if you must use mailbox/brick-level backup, do it only if you are
also performing a proper online backup of your Exchange stores. Brick-level
is useless for disaster recovery, sucks up tons of tape & time, and often
causes errors.
Check Veritas support for info on the message you're seeing, and also see
whether the messages reported as inaccessible can actually be opened in the
mailboxes they live in. And if you think you have viruses, make sure you're
using good Exchange-aware antivirus software - this is a must. |
