I think this is a longshot...

We have two Exchange organisations with its own SMTP suffix, CompanyA.com
and CompanyB.com and we have a bridgehead server with SMTP routing configured
in IMC to route email to the appropriate Exchange organisation depending on
email address suffix.

I want to decommission the CompanyA.com Exchange Server, and because the
users are based at different offices, I want to migrate the mailboxes in a
phased manner from ServerA to ServerB, so there will be a point when there
will be mailboxes on both servers with the CompanyA.com SMTP email address.

I'm sure that the bridgehead server can only route mail to one server.

Is there a way I can achieve this so the Bridgehead will check which server
to route the email to, other than mass migrate everyone and change the
routing in one go?

Thanks for any responses.

You shouldn't have to do anything....it will work fine. You don't mention
what version of Exchange...but if 55, server's A and B share same dir info,
so if user moves from svrA to B, and IMC mail comes to svrA...it will
forward that mail to server B.

Same thing for Ex200x.
