First let me explain (as it will be obvious from this post) that my Exchange
knowledge is very limited. Fortunately I'm working someone who is
experienced. He doesn't have the answer to these questions so I'll ask you
gaggle of gurus.

I'm providing a quote to move from GroupWise to Exchange 2003. The client
currently has some features working that must be maintained and we're (my
Exchange 'guy' and myself) are not sure how to proceed. Any ideas or
suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

1). Can a single Exchange installation support more than one domain of
completely different names? I have a client that has approximately 20
domains (all different FQDN) running off a Linux box (qmail) and would like
to integrate them into a single set of mailboxes since the different domains
are for the same people just in different roles.

2). Is there a built-in or third party app that provides web-based, simple
end-user administration of email accounts? Something like the ISP's provide
when they are the email provider. This way remote sites can maintain user
accounts and passwords without having to use TS or VPN..

3). I'm not even sure what to ask on this point so I'll post the clients
question:
"Right now we have a single Mailman daemon running that handles
lists.abc.org and lists.abc.org.
There are various lists (some announcement only, some discussion lists) that
are managed through a web interface by various volunteers and employees. The
end user can sign up for the various lists through a web interface on the
site in question (e.g. abc.org) or the list administrator can add them
manually. The end user also has limited web-based admin abilities to change
his password, temporarily suspend delivery, halt delivery etc. The users on
the lists are not tied in any way to any global address book, nor are the
people who administer them. It's your basic list serv. The discussion list
could also be moderated, in that, posts are approved by a moderator before
being sent to the entire list. Since I know that Exchange is VERY Active
Directory centric, and I wanted to know how we are going to address this
level of functionality within an Exchange environment if it's even
possible."
