I want to create an front end - back end scenario at my company. The
question is to do this will I need to buy 2 exchange server licenses.
My front end exchange box going to be used for OWA only, no mail box's
are going to be stored on it.

Can any one please direct me to a white paper on how to do this.

You need two Exchange licenses.
