Hello,

If I have a user, call him jsmith@abc.com, who wants to occasionally send
mail out as sales@abc.com and other times as marketing@abc.com but still keep
his jsmith@abc.com as his normal email address, how can I do this without
going in and changing his primary account all the time?

TIA,
Dave

create additional mailboxes with these smtp addresses...grant him ownership
of the mailboxes, and if you like, you could set the delivery options to
send all mail for the other mailboxes to his primary mailbox...

Sorry to sound ignorant (I probably am) How does the end user then compose an
email using a different From: address?

Thanks,
Dave

in the email you're composing, select "View" and "From: field", then select
that other mailbox from the GAL...if you have ownership of the mailbox, you
can send from it...

If Dave does not want to create additional mailboxes/accounts, this software
could help:
http://www.ivasoft.biz/choosefrom.shtml
It can work with Exchange 2000/2003 though.
