Hi Eric,
You can load balance OWA, but, not mail store access. A user's mailbox
resides in one mailstore and that's it. The only way to do failover here is
to use a clustering product be it MSCS or something like Veritas Cluster
Server which works with the standard edition of Windows. Either way you'll
need a SAN and the associated equipment.

without having to cluster the servers with Windows 2003 Advanced and
Exchange 2003 Enterprise.
Simple put.
I have one Exchange 2003 Standard server running on Windows 2003
Standard that is a DC in AD where everything is Native, and where the
users connect with OWA ONLY.
I want to have two Exchange 2003 servers the users mailbox and public
folder stores are replicated between the two every time something
changes etc.
So that in the event that one server fails, users can access the other
server and not lose information. I know how to do this with
clustering, but I don't think it is cost effective solution to purchase
the advanced/enterprise licenses for such a simple task.

Anybody have any suggestions?
Many thanks in advance.
