How can I prevent people outside the org. from sending e-mails to my staff
group (staff@mydomain.com)?

Thanks,

In Exchange 2k3 you can filter senders from System Manager, Mail Deliver
Options. You will also need to enable sender filter on the SMTP virtual
servers.

Can explain more. Where do I find mail deliver options. I have my SMTP

1. Open System Manager.
2. Browse to Organization -> Global Settings -> Message Delivery
3. Sender Filtering is under the Message Delivery Properties.

You will then need to go into the properties of your virtual server.
1. Under the General tab click Advanced.
2. For the IPs configured select Edit.
3. Click on 'Apply Sender Filter'

hope this clarrifies it :))

Hemm actually recipient filter might be more appropriate to your case.
Options are to be set in the same locations as I described in my previous
posting.
