Recipient Policies Not Being Applied |
|
|
I am programatically creating users and giving them an email address
(or two), and an exchange mailbox (Using ADSI/CDOEXM). I have a
Recepient Policy (not the default) that should be giving these users
more smtp email addresses, however it never seems to run. I have the
RUS set to always run.
When I create a user using Active Directory Users & Computers and give
them an exchange mailbox, the Recepient Policy *does* give them more
smtp email addresses!
Another note, after I programatically create the user and the
Recepient Policy hasnt given the new smtp email addresses, I am able
to go into Exchange System Manager and right click the policy and
apply it. This does give them the new smtp email addresses.
Does anyone know of any possible reasons how/why this can happen?
A second question, is there any way to programatically or script the
"apply this policy" functionality?
