If I send an attatchment with OWA the Information Store sto |
|
|
In Windows 2003 and Exchange 2003 SP1, when i try to send an attachment by
a client using OWA the Information Store service stops.
For information, i have also installed Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition
and Veritas Backup Exec 9 (all funvtionally 100%).
Also, if i try to download messages with Outlook Express using IMAP4
protocols, in the server event log appear some messages like "error
rendering message from account xxx@mydomain.com", and i can't see the
complete list of incoming emails.
I have tried to install all the patch and uprgrade avalaibale and i've
checked the database with eseutil, and all seems to be ok.
Thank you in advance.

Are you excluding all the exchange and inetpub directories from AV
scans?

Definetely exlcude those directories. If the problem continues,
disable the AV and test. If it still happens, uninstall the AV and
test.
