OWA - logon issue |
|
|
win2k3, E2k3 - SP1 environment. Hosting three email domains (domainA.com,
domainB.com, and domainC.com). I have forms based authentication setup and
working fine, so when a user browses to "https://domainname/exchange the OWA
logon paged comes up. The problem is that ALL users have to login using the
"default" domainname\username. They can not use domainB\username.
How do you setup OWA so that users who have email addresses from domainB or
domainC (i.e. username@domainB.com or username@domainC.com ) can login by
using their respective domain logon (instead of domainA\username)? Do I
need to setup an HTTP virtual server for EACH email domain that I am
hosting?``
Thanks in advance,
Tim

RE: OWA - logon issue |

Hi Tim,
I wouldn't bother a virtual for each, since they are all populating into one
main account I assume.
I was able to do that very easily. Like you, I have a recipient policy for
each domain, and I also have UPN's defined in AD for each domain that allows
them to login using any of their email addresses -- 'username@domain.com'
So they have the option to login as your main domain\username (as they do
now) OR login as any email address defined as a UPN (username@domain1.com,
username@domain2.com,username3@domain.com).
If you need help email me
Thanks,
