I have an Exchange 2003 running on a GC. There has been one other GC until
today, when I added another. I want to have the Exchange box become just a
member server to free up resources on it. But according to this:

demoting the Exchange box back to a member server (or even changing it to
not be a GC) is "bad". Is it possible to get around this? I suppose I could
put Exchange on another box, move the mailboxes over to it, demote the
server, reinstall Exchange and move the mailboxes back, but that sure is the
long way around.
Any suggestions?
