Requirements fro migrating mailboxes from a w2k exchange org to a different
w2k3 exchange org:
Currently in the existing enviroment, we had a exchange 2k organtisation. We
will be stup a new W2k3 forest, domain and exchange. For the migration steps,
is it similar to the migration frm exchange 5.5 to exchange 2k3?

Do you have a good reason to create a new forest? It's less hassle to fix |
the flaws in your current active directory (3 hours for a good consultant at
the most).
Please consider doing it much simpler way with a standard 2000 to 2003
forest upgrade method (upgrade Exchange 2000 and windows 2000 to current SP,
install Exchange 2003 on Windows 2000 Server as an upgrade, upgrade Windows
2000 server to 2003, DONE!), but a 2000 org is actually much easier to move
than 5.5 was.

first google "interforest exchange migration"
You didn't mention how big the environment was. If its small, (100ish users
or less) you can use ADMT and native tools.
I've done larger with these, but if you don't have much experience, look to
using a more advanced tool like NetIQ or Altiris or others.
If its larger, think about the more advanced tool in less you have a lot of
time to practice it.
Each outlook client will need to be touched or you will need to use the
modprof tool from MS, unless your using a third party tool like I mentioned.
Either way, spend some time in a lab. KNowing the issues you may encounter
will greatly reduce the end user stress level.

Hope it helps
