Change Sender address to track bounced mails |

Hi All,
Is it at all possible to change the sender email address before a mail
leaves the environment?
We have legacy applications sending bulk mail. In order for us to track
bounces more effectivly we whould like to format an ID into the sender
address and log that to outgoing mails.
I also posted the message on ISmtpOutCommandSink on 1-09-2005. It seems
possible,I just cant get the SMTP server to ignore the initial MAIL FROM
command.
Please, any help will be appriciated. Thanks.
