Hi everybody,

we access exchange 2003 sp1 on windows 2003 sp1 via ADO over exoledb.
When somebody in outlook deletes an item it goes to the deleted
items-folder. If somebody deletes an item in the deleted items-folder the
item is not deleted complety, but gets a Tombstone and will last somewhere
for 24(default(?)) days.

1.) Is there a chance to query these "Tombstone-"items via ADODB over
exoledb?
2.) I don't know anymore where to get or set this value in the
system-manager or elsewhere. Any tip for me? And the same programmtically?

Any tip helps.

Thanks in advance,

Jens

Hello,

I have an article on my website on this topic. Albeit, I use WebDAV to
retrieve the soft-deleted items. It may help you, though.
