Hello all....
I'm using Exchange 2003, on Windows Server 2003. Is there a way I can
track any mail that went to a particulra domain? For example, I want to see
if anyone sent mail to anyone in the xyz.com domain.
Thank you.
Ed

Enable message tracking. This is done on a per-server basis. In Exchange
System Manager, go to the properties of your server and check the message
tracking boxes. I'd recommend also to allow Exchange to remove log files
after a certain date - how long you keep them is really up to you.

The other thing that you can do, which will allow a bit more logging, is to
turn on SMTP logging. This is done on the properties of the SMTP Virtual
Server. These you have to remember to clean out, but they aren't that big.

Message tracking in Exchange only allows (as far as I know) tracking to/from
a specific address. I'm looking for something to track all mail to a
specific domain.

ok - so you need to find a 3rd party product that can parse the message
tracking logs and interpret them how you want. There are plenty of them out
there that will do this. Quest has one; NetIQ does as well I believe. Take
your pick.
