ADC ?'s |
|
|
I'm working migrating Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003.
Our current setup is Exchange 5.5 SP4, one server (Win2k cluster) all users
are already in a Windows 2000 SP AD domain (single forest and domain).
I have gotten to the point of installing an Active Directory Connector that
seems to work, but this is the result I get when I run ADCconfigcheck:
#*** ADCConfigCheck: finished verifying 0 objects: 01/21/2005 08:56:21 ***#
#*** ADCConfigCheck began: 01/21/2005 09:01:27 Server name: trsmail ***#
There is no Microsoft Exchange organization object in Active Directory. No
Exchange 5.5 configuration objects could have been replicated to Active
Directory. The ADCConfigCheck will be skipped.
#*** ADCConfigCheck: finished verifying 0 objects: 01/21/2005 09:01:27 ***#
As I said replication seems to be working , if I make an update on either
end the change is replicated to the other environment successfully.
I assume this isn't normal, should there have been an organization object
created representing the Exchange 5.5 organization? If so where should it
be in the Configuration container?
TIA for any advice.

Did you install the latest version of ADC?
Have you installed any Exchange 2003 yet?
