Hi all,
Please help me on this. I want to know how to track our email has been sent
or read or even deleted by receiver. I know that outlook has a tracking
feature that can be used to track email has been sent or read, but it can't
be used when the receiver opens email through free email service like yahoo
or google. So, is there any solution? I want to report how many email has
been successfully sent or read, bounced, or even deleted by receiver, with
reporting services.

Vincent

Once an email leaves your system there is no way to reliably know whether it
has been read and there is certainly no way to know whether it has been
deleted. Delivery Status Notifications may tell you about sent and bounced
status, but again, it wouldn't be 100% reliable.

The only place you have a reliable way of tracking what happens to an email
is within your own system. And monitoring deleted is going to be tricky
even there.
