but if you do a message trace on an email sent from this address, you should
be able to see what happened to it...

go to "message tracking"...type in the address that the as400 sends from in
the field for "Sender"...then select the server where this user's mailbox
is, and select the time frame, then do a trace...

Got ya - sorry about that!
If I track the message, submitting the exchange server and recipient, I
actually see the message in question. When I click on one of the messages to
view the history, I actually see it delivered saying "SMTP Store Driver:
Message Delivered Locally to Store to username.
So there's the message, why isn't he getting it? CLIENT????!!!! |

if it was delivered to the user, I would do an "advanced find" on the user's
mailbox to find the message...it has to be there somewhere, or
deleted...look in the dumpster for it, too...

An Inbox rule can be the problem (maybe it's marking the mesage as
"Read", moving it to another folder (or even to the root of the
mailbox!), etc.
Or, the Outlook junk mail filter's putting the message into the "Junk"
folder or deleting it.
