Exchange 2003 FE and Exchange 2000 BE not working |

Hi
I am working on Exchange 2003 upgrades. I am upgrading 3 Exchange 2000
clusters and have another E2003 cluster built and is ready for
production. We currently have 1 FE Exchange 2003 server inside our
firewall which I need to upgrade the hardware and basically
decomission. It is successfully hosting OWA now. I have another
Exchange 2003 FE server built which will be the replacement server but
the problem is that I can only access mailboxes on the Exchange 2003
server cluster and not mailboxes on the Exchange 2000 clusters (I get
page can't be found error). While the old E2003 FE server gets to the
E2000 servers but not to the new E2003 server (basically doesn't
authenticates at logon)I thought i had the new E2003 FE server set up
the same as existing and currently working one but I can seem to think
of what I missed. This is pretty much gating the whole upgrade. Any
suggestions whould be greatly appreciated. Thanks
