Hello:

1) How can I get the version of MS Exchange which is installed in my
computer? (By a command or C++ code).

2) How could I automatically create a new public folder in MS Exchange 2003?

Thanks a lot.
Manuel.

You can get the version of Exchange using WMI and the ExchangeServerState
Class see
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/e2k3/e2k3/_wmiref_cl_ExchangeServerState.asp

With createing Public Folder there are a few different methods depending on
what your programming in and what your trying to do

You can use CDOEX locally on the box to create a folder see
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/e2k3/e2k3/_hosting_createpublicfolder.asp
to mail-enable that folder see
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/wss/wss/_cdo_enabling_a_folder_for_mail.asp

To do it remotely you could use WebDAV
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/e2k3/e2k3/_exch2k_creating_folders_http.asp

You can also use CDO 1.2 to create folders remotely see
http://www.cdolive.com/cdo5.htm#CreateNewFolder or if your coding in C++ you
can use ExMapi

Cheers
Glen
