Public folders Deletion |
|
|
Hi
Simple question......
How do i delete the public folders tree, or if i can't delete it, how do i
hide it?? We do not use this facility so we would like it if the root of the
tree didn't appear on any client PC's
Thanks

You can't delete it - and I'm not sure you can even hide the "public
folders\all public folders". As long as nobody has permissions to create
anything in there, it shouldn't be a problem to have it visible, right?
That said, you might want to look into using public folders. They can be
very handy. |

Thanks for that, i shall just leave it where it is then!!
We don't really have the need for it at present although i have seen it's
benefits at a previous company whre i used to work.
Cheers
