Rename Exchange 2000 member server???

Rename Exchange 2000 member server???

Does anyone no the process in which to rename a Exch2000 server? or could
provide a reference.

You can't rename the server. You'd have to completely reinstall. What's the
reason/need to rename it? Few people actually even see the name...

The initial name has an underscore in it "_". I would like to properly
follow DNS standard and have it removed.

You could set up a temporary "swing box", move mailboxes, replicate PFs,
then rebuild the original server as you wish - then move everything back. Of
course, you'd make good backups first!
