Intelligent Message Filter and SP2 |
|
|
I have an Exchange 2003 Enterprise server. I had an Intelligent Message
Filter installed, and it worked fine up to Exchange SP2 installation.
After SP2 installed, I have lost Intelligent Massaging Filtering option in
SMTP Protocol (in System Manager).
And IMF dosnt work at all.
I have reinstalled IMF - now IMW works, but I lost Sender ID tab in Message
Deilvery properties.
Is it possible to have both of this features together?
Did I do something wrong?

Uninstall IMF (you probably reinstalled IMF v1 - not sure if SP2 would allow
that), reinstall SP2. IMF has found a new place in the UI, and therefore the
confusion. SP2 includes IMF2, it's not a separate install.

Yes. I had same issue with sp2 it did not ask me to uninstall before
installing sp2.
Some people got massage saying to uninstall IMF before SP2. I did not get any.
This will affect SBS2003 with sp1 I think.
