Hi

I'm trying to view/add/edit/delete the Public Contacts folder in Exchange
2003 via VB6/.NET

I want to write a application that sits on the Exchange server that when
called, can query the Public Contacts folder. I need to assume that OWA will
not be running, and IIS is not really available.

My current thoughts are that the CDOEX.DLL library (CDO for Exchange) is the
way forward.

Thoughts or any sample code much appreciated!

Regards

Dave

The Iperson Interface in CDOEX will work fine for what you want to do. CDOEX
runs over Exoledb so you can also use a combination of ADO/Exoledb to do
some of this as well. Eg to delete a Contact you'll need to use
deleterecord. The are a lot of samples of using IPerson in the Exchange SDK
which you can download from http://msdn.microsoft.com/exchange just search
for Iperson.

Cheers
Glen
