Exchange 2003 having problems resolving DNS |
|
|
I have received calls from different companies that have had problems sending
e-mail to my site. The common factor is that the system they are trying to
send e-mails from Exchange 2003. The mail never leaves their server and they
get a delayed message then a nondelivery message after a few days. The MX
record for mysite.com resolves to mail.global.frontbridge.com because they
are our spam solution provider and all incoming and outgoing e-mail goes to
them. I wonder if the Exchange 2003 server is having a problem resolving all
the I.P. addresses for Frontbridge because it does a round robin to 8
different I.P. addresses. Any suggestions or tips on how to resolve this?
Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2000 systems do not have this problem as far as I
can tell.
