I have a clustered exchange 2003 active/pasive but the speed is slow, slow,
......
people get sometimes in outlook 2003 retrieving data ....
I have 1000 mailboxes, 4 storage groups ..
any idea?

Hi Steven,
unfortunately there could be "tons" of reasons why your exchange cluster is
performing slow. Personally, I wouldn't associate such behavior with cluster
service.
Try to determine what is the bottleneck, following article may help you:

The problem is disk I/O communication the san speed reaction is to low
against disk access time |

It is time to talk to the SAN vendor. Perhaps a diskpar is in your future.
