Hi All
Can someone clarify something for me?

I am planning on installing an E2K3 server into an existing E2K Org which
has multiple Admin groups and Routing groups. All current E2K servers have
the latest SP and Patches.

When I install this E2K3 server into the E2K Org will the Free/Busy public
folder replicate automatically with the other Exchange 2000 servers. i.e. Is
the Free/busy public folders from E2K3 and E2K compatible ?
If not, what planning or updates do I need to do to ensure Free/Busy public
folders replicate to each other ?

Many thanks

Ms Moc

Free/Busy will not replicate automatically. However, it's not really
necessary to replicate Free/Busy to all servers in an admin group. If you're
planning to eventually remove the E2K servers in each admin group, you
should look at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=307917. (Also includes
procedure for replicating Free/Busy).

Also check the "Supported Topologies" section in "Managing Exchange Server
2003 Free/Busy Folders":
