Do you have any clues? I'm on exchange 2003 enterprise
and Microsoft Windows 2003 standard edition member server to a Windows 2003
standard domain controller.

On startup:

1) Receiveing event 2114 DSAccess topology error that topology discovery
failed on process EMSMTA.exe or WMIPRVSE.exe

2) Followed by DSAccess topology Domain Controllers not responding. THen
2103 global catalogs not responfding. Process MAD.exe

3) Then 8026 LDAP Bind unsuccessful on directory. 0x51 server down.

4)
Unexpected error The server is not operational. Facility:
Win32 ID no: 8007203a Microsoft Exchange System Attendant
occurred.

After running for some time.

1)

The Win32 API call 'DsGetDCNameW' returned error code
[0x54b] The specified domain either does not exist or
could not be contacted. The service could not be
initialized. Make sure that the operating system was
installed properly.

I ran dcdiag on the Exchange server and the domain controller was not
responding to directory service requests.

I gave full control permissions on the Exchange mailbox store to
Administrators, and Domain admins. I wonder if permissions is causing this?

The Exchange server is working most of the time however it takes a long time
to log into the Exchange server and sometimes that fails.
