Also - additional information - use rpcping on this machine and it gives no
errors when connecting to the rpc proxy. Used this command:
C:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools>rpcping -t ncacn_http -s
com01.****.net -o RpcProxy=outlook.****.net -P "rhertzler,****,*" -I
"rhertzler,****,*" -H 1 -u 10 -a connect -F 3 -v 3 -e 6001
So it really seems to be something with Outlook itself running on Windows
2003 SP1. Maybe it has to do with the fact that the exchange server is at
the domain ****.net and the laptop client running Windows 2003 SP1 is at
****.local. Strange thing is that WITHOUT SP1 on the client, everything
works fine.
