Do to server problems I had to reinstall the 2000 small business server and
had to change the domain name and the server name. I can send and recieve
mail OK but my problem is with Task's. Any task that was created before the
server change that is completed or updated when it sends the update it comes
back with the message cant find e-mail address with the #5.1.0 error. My
question is can I create an alias? or how can I redirect task's or is there
a tool to fix this problem?

Thanks

I don't have this setup handy to test, but if you open the task do you see
the owner's info in there, and can you change it to the 'real' e-mail
address for the user (pick from the GAL)?

Note - if you'd had a good, full backup of your server you wouldn't have
needed to create a new AD domain and end up with this problem - make sure
you run good backups every night & review your logs.

Also - it's entirely possible you didn't need to reinstall from scratch;
next time you're having problems, post in
microsoft.public.backoffice.smallbiz2000 with details and you're likely to
get help fixing them, not just eradicating them outright.
