Is it possible to read emails in Exchange using VBScript? I need to
regularly poll an Exchange account to check for emails and if one arrives
then save its attachment out to a file. Is this possible?

Thanks!

Yes depending on where you want to run your code you have a few options if
you can run the code locally you could use CDOEX and Exoledb to query the
store for any unread email. If you want to run remotely you could use WebDAV
to do a search of the inbox folder and X-MS-ENUMATTS to deal with
attachments. You could also use CDO 1.2 remotely if you have a Mapi client
such as outlook installed on the machine making the request. For more
details and samples for CDOEX,Exoledb and WebDAV have a look at the Exchange
SDK which you can download from http://msdn.microsoft.com/exchange. For
information and samples for CDO 1.2 have a look at www.cdolive.com

The other option you might want to think about is using a Exchange Store
Event sink which will fire whenever a new mail arrives in a folder.

Cheers
Glen
