Licensing.. |
|
|
Hello,
Currently we have a 2003 exchange server with about 1100 mailboxes.
When we installed the exchange 2003 server, we also bought an additional 700
exchange client licenses at the same time. So currently we run 700 exchange
2003 clients and 400 exchange 2000 clients. Can I upgrade the exchange 2000
clients to 2003? Or do I need to buy licensing of 20003 client licenses?
Tx

Somebody will correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't an Exchange license
version independent? Like a server CAL, if my wkstn has a CAL, I can
connect to any server.

For all licensing-related questions, best to call Microsoft directly.
