I am trying to move 25 users from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 (running on
SBS 2003). I can not seem to move existing mailboxes for the users.
I have tried using the migration wizard under SBS 2003 exchange. I have
read using exmerge.exe on exchange 5.5, where can I find exmerge.exe tool?
I read in one of the migration to SBS 2003 documents that the exchange
wizard or exmerge.exe only work if the users login accounts are migrated. I
have manaully created user accounts on SBS 2003.
And lastly, is there another way of migrating mailboxes without paying for
tools such as quest? Can each user logon to exchange 5.5 and download their
mailbox and then upload to exchange 2003? Is there a POP3 option for users?
Or is there an export option for users?
