Find out who is running Cache Exchange Mode |
|
|
Hello,
Is there any way I can find out who is running normal or Cache Exchange Mode
in an organization by using a script or other utilities? We are running
Exchange 2003 with Outlook 2003 clients.
Thanks,
Richard

You could dismount the Exchange stores/stop the Exchange services and see
who complains. ;-)
On a more serious note, I'm not sure there's any centralized way to check
this. |

90% won't complain anyway, they'll just go to the pub.

Add the "Client Mode" column under Logons in ESM.
0 is unknown, 1 is online, 2 is cached.
You may see some mailboxes with multple logons with different values.

Oh, that's great to know. Thanks, Mr. Andy. |

Cool. While we're poking around in there, anybody know what "Latency"
means in that context? Most everybody on my server is 1000-9999, but I
have one user who is showing a value of 699000 or so. Given the variance
it looks like something I ought to understand.
