Hi all,

On a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) I experience
the following symptom: If the computer is rebooted, the global event
sinks are no longer triggered.

I found this problem in MS knowledge base:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=872822

I've requested the hotfix, and installed it.
But when I reboot the server (with 2 global event sinks registered) the
server hangs/waits at "applying computer settings".
I waited for an hour, no change.

Lucky I had made a snapshop backup image, so I could restore my server
very quickly using BartPE to the state before installing the hotfix.

Why is the hotfix not working?
Does anybody also have this problem?

Regards,
Bart Lagerweij.
