Access to additional folders with a Shared Mailbox |
|
|
I had our IT dept. create a shared mailbox that approx. 10 people have access
to. The idea was to attach/ relate emails, posts, etc. to contacts we all
have in common. The problem is that in this mailbox the "Activities" tab is
not present as an option under folder the "Properties" and there is no way to
relate this information to this folder. Is there a way to set up this type of
mailbox in Outlook 2000 to do the things I described?

I don't know that you can use the activities links in a mailbox that isn't
the primary one you open, or share the info that way, but you might post in
microsoft.public.outlook for more help & also look at www.slipstick.com. |

Lanwench,
HELP??!!
Hoping you can shed some light on something I'm struggling with...
Can any Outlook client see email activity on Activities Tab of a Contact
that is to/from a different Outlook client?
Environment: Exchange Server 2003 and Outlook 2003.
All Contacts will be stored in a Public Folder on the Exchange Server.
So, when, for example, I go to a Contact, I'd like to go to the Activities
Tab and see any emails that were sent to or received from that Contact by me
(my machine), or anyone else's machine (that is also connected to the Exhange
Server).
Thanks in advance!
It's a deal breaker for a custom form application we've put together for a
client.
