Mailbox Folder Access Problems |
|
|
Exchange 2003 SP2 one sotrage group two mailbox stores running 2003 AD in
mixed mode with 3 Exchange 5.5 servers.
Recently migrated 600 mailboxes to new mailbox store on Exchange 2003 server
without incident. I now have 4 mailboxes that open and work fine on OWA but
only can access Inbox folder with Outlook 2003 or 2000 if any other folder
(Contacts, deleted items, Calendar) or subfolder is attempted to be accessed
Outlook crashes.
I did move the mailbox to the other store on the server and access was back
to normal, but when I moved it back again same issues are present.
I have tested this on multiple machines including myself using both the
users logon credentials and Exchange admin credentials.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried just recreating the User Outlook Profile on the machines in
question? Anything errors in the Event Viewer on Exchange Server or the
client machine?

Just out of curiousity, have you tried recreating the users mailbox in
question? From what you posted it sounds like 600 mailboxes were moved but
only 4 are having issues, is that correct?

appear to fix another user I had with this same issue. I have also had no
success creating the profile on other machines including my own. As for
Eventlogs the Exchange server has nothing in the eventlog and on my
machine
when I recreate the issue in the Application Log get an Event ID: 1000
with
the following info.
Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.6353.0, stamp 408f2937,
faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, stamp 411096b4, debug?
0,

I have not dumped the mailbox to a PST and recreated it, I was hoping to not
have to go that far. Apparately this is a tad more widespread that I first
thought, most cases recreating the profile is correcting this problem.

Not sure if this post wen tht efirst time.
I have tried to recreate the profile to no avail, on multiple machines.
There is nothing in the Event Logs on the Exchange Server and this is what I
receive on my workstation when I have recreated the problem.
Application Log Event ID: 1000
Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.6353.0, stamp 408f2937,
faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.2180, stamp 411096b4, debug? 0,
fault address 0x0000eddc.
Any ideas would really help
