Outlook Clients not connecting to Exchange 2003 |

Had a situation today were all of a sudden non of my outlook 2003 clients
could connect to the exchange 2003 server. These clients were connected put
then lost that ability. Outlook browser showed in the lower left corner "Try
to connect" and send/receive 50%. I check the exchange server all services
were running, windows event log show no errors. I could (from exchange) ping
all systems including my DCs running DNS. From my DCs I could ping my
exchange server. All looked good on the DC side as well. I rebooted the
exchange server and this fixed the situation. Any ideas what was happening?
I can only think that it involve AD LDAP dropping exchange. ?
