ADC trying to replicate Deleted Items |
|
|
I am at the ADC stage of moving from EX5.5 to EX2003 but am getting lots of
event log Warning messages (Replication). They all seem to relate to either
deleted objects from AD or deleted items from the EX5.5 directory!! Because
of this the Verify in Step 4 of the ADC Tools wizards throws up errors saying
some objects have not replicated from EX55 to AD, and from AD to EX55
For example:
Trying to replicate a deleted AD object (Learner Support) -
Event ID - 8289 The ADC will not replicate CN=Learner Support
Services\0ADEL:b6202941-25ac-4392-99ad-005a2c6b87ba,CN=Deleted
Objects,DC=ad,DC=stcoll,DC=ac,DC=uk. The current connection agreement is not
a primary Connection agreement, and ADC cannot determine the name of the
source organization. As a result, ADC is not allowed to create a new target
for this object. (Connection Agreement 'Users: ad.stcoll.ac.uk -
SOUTH-TRAFFORD\stcoll' #2396)
Trying to replicate to a deleted EX55 object
(cn=waldeni,cn=Recipients,ou=SOUTH-TRAFFORD,o=stcoll) -
Event ID - 8274 ADC could not replicate CN=Izzy
Walden\0ADEL:2e5d81a1-a326-47d7-9bf5-33c200b837d2,CN=Deleted
Objects,DC=ad,DC=stcoll,DC=ac,DC=uk to
cn=waldeni,cn=Recipients,ou=SOUTH-TRAFFORD,o=stcoll because the target object
is deleted. (Connection Agreement 'Users: ad.stcoll.ac.uk -
SOUTH-TRAFFORD\stcoll' #2396)
I've tried deleting the CAs and recreating them but doesn't work.
All my existing AD users, groups and EX55 mailboxes seem to replicate ok!!
How can I resolve this??
Or can I just carry on with the Exchange 2003 installation - as I obviously
don't need the deleted stuff to be replicated anyway???
PS It's a simple setup - 1 AD 2003 domain, 1 EX55 server, site and org.
Regards
Dave
