Hi,

We upgraded to Exchange 2003 from 5.5 a couple months ago. We are running
our Exchange in Mixed mode and everything is fine. I don't want to be in
Mixed mode we should be in Native mode.

I followed all the instructions in the Exchange Migration Guide, KB 272314
and all that stuff. Issue is I can still see the old server in the
Adminstrative groups. Its greyed out and not active but I can not delete it.
I even uninstalled Exchange 5.5 from the old box itself and no joy. All
public folder, mailboxes and all are on the new E2k3 box.

What am I going wrong or what else should I be doing? Any help is
appreciated.

Chuckles at this stage. One of the MS folk fell into this very trap
during a demo (Eileen Brown - stop hiding, we can see you).
You need to use the Exchange 5.5 Administrator app that's installed
(you may need to install it from the 2003 CD) on the E2K3 box. Delete
the box there. It will then go (give it 20 minutes) from the 2003 ESM
console.
