Well, if you already ran ADPREP and still have your Exchange 200 Server in
the domain you should verify this first,
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/314649
As for upgrading your DC's to Windows 2003, there should no problem. The
Exchange Server will need to upgraded to Exchagne 2003 before the OS is
upgraded to Windows 2003.

i'm on the way to migrate my 2K domain to 2k3
i have 4 DC running win2K and one of those is running Exchange 2K Std
server.
I just made the adprep /forestprep & domainprep operations (from win2k3
cd)
on my first DC (not the Exchange server) so i think my AD is 2k3 ready.
I hope I did not make a mistake because I plan to first upgrade my
"normal"
DC's to Win2K3 and to finally upgrade the Exchange DC (first Exchange
upgrade then Windows upgrade)
can anybody confirm that i'm OK with this ? :)
thanks in advance |
