Hi

I have one AD domain....

With that domain we pull down email for two separate domains mycompanya.com
and mycompanyb.com....

A couple of my users need to use both email addresses from their one Outlook
mail box....

e.g. joe.bloggs@mycompanya.com and joe.bloggs@mycompanyb.com

What I want is for mail that comes in to joe.bloggs@mycompanya.com to be
sent out with his correct details on and mail that comes in to
joe.bloggs@mycompanyb.com to equally go out with the correct email address
on....

I'm not really sure what I need to set up here.... My guess is that in
reality I need two user accounts setup in AD, then open both mailboxes from
the one user...?

Would that be correct...?, or is there an easy way to do it...?

Many thanks
Col

Other option ... I have done this for several of my users who need to send as
and receive as multiple addresss. Setup this "primary" address on their
primary mailbox, all mail they send will default as FROM this address.
Create Distribution List, set user as Owner/ManageBy, Allow update. Give
this DL the secondary email address, add the users Primary account as a
Member of this DL. Now, all mail sent to either addr will come to users
Primary mailbox. If user needs to send as the secondary addr, he simply
changes the FROM to be the DL, it will go out as the secondary address.

This works great for us, don't need multiple mailboxes. If you want to
separate the incoming mails, setup Outlook Rule to search the "message
header" for one of the addresses, move those msgs to another folder in your
mailbox.

Hope this helps.

Yep. Grant the user full mailbox access & send as rights to the other
mailbox, and have him/her open it as a secondary mailbox in Outlook.

Would that be correct...?, or is there an easy way to do it...?

Only other option would be www.ivasoft.biz - ChooseFrom.

Many thanks

Forgot --> On Group, give primary user/account SEND AS access via Security
Tab (ADUC).
