Exchg 2000 routing internal mail out smtp connector when WAN |

During a WAN outage at our site with internet connectivity mail that should
have been delivered via a routing group connector was routed out to the
internet via the SMTP connector to our AV provider causing a loop.
When WAN was restored mail delivery reverted to normal except one that
lost(?) it's remote bridgehead server.
All Servers Exchg2000,
Routing groups are set up for each remote site with RGC's between main
server and remote servers.
1 outbound connection to AV service provider with address space set to *
