I have a similar issue except we are using using Exchange 2003. Can anyone
provide some help with this issue?

Sorry, my previous post was intended to be a reply to one with the following
question...

The last user I set up in our domain can't receive outbound mail and the
sender will get the following error messages:

Got an unknown RCPT TO response: 553 mailbox <e-mail address> is
restricted

or

Status: 5.1.3 (bad destination mailbox address syntax)
Remote-MTA: dns; <Our DNS MX Pointer>
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 553 <e-mail address> is restricted

I've been trying to search for information about this specific error but
can't seem to find any.

Does anyone know what this means?

Please help me!
