http email setup in outlook |
|
|
Is is possible to setup an http email account in outlook 2003 that will
conntect to an exchagne 2003 server so that you can view/download email when
you are at a remote site, connected to the internet. I have the outlook web
access setup & working but I need to find a way to let the user connect to
exchange using outlook when they are not in the office & then connct normally
to exchange when they are back in the office.
I tried pop3 account in outlook but that duplicates email in outlook &
downloads all email in the inbox on the exchange server. The only other way I
can think of isto use the http account option in outlook 2003.
Thanks
JJ

If you have Outlook 2003 with Exchange 2003 (on Windows XP and Windows |
Server 2003) you can use RPC over HTTPS and just have one method of
access. No mucking about with other protocols or anything.
Have you given any thought to that? |
