RPC over HTTP on SBS 2003 problem |
|
|
Hi All
There is a kind of a problem i have with Exchange 2003 on SBS 2003. I try to
configure Outlook via Internet feature on server, but no matter what - it
still not works! (
I'd used a wizard to install and configure this feature on server,
I'd comfigured server and cient exactly like in
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;833401
but it's dont work. Even if I try to connect to server over HTTP in the same
local network.
The last option is certificate, that is should to be important:
"...you must make sure that the client computers trust the certification
authority. For more information about how to trust a root certification
authority, click the following article number to view the article in the
Microsoft Knowledge Base 297681 " (in KB 833401). Is it really fix the
problem?
Ok. I'd check an 297681. But where in SBS certificates located? I've tried
to find .crt file, but also in hidden and system folders it's not present...
Configuration of server:
SBS 2003 Standart edition + SP1
Exchange server 2003 + SP2

Open
https://myserver/remote
in Internet Explorer on the PC in question. When prompted for the
certificate, you need to not only accept it, you need to actually install it
(take the defaults) - then accept it - and then you have it.
Note that SBS is its own beast and you're best off posting SBS questions in
microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs. |
