Exchange 2003 Migration issue |
|
|
I have successfully upgraded a Windows 2003 box as a DC. I wish to removed
AD from the old windows 2000 server (which is an Exchange 2000 server as
well), and then install Exchange 2003 on a different 2003 member server. The
Exchange snap-in is not available on my 2003 DC, so I don't wish to remove AD
from the 2000 server until it is available on the 2003 box. The Exchange
add-in is not listed when I try to add it. I can't add Exchange 2003 since I
get an error message indicating that "All Active Directory connectors in the
Windows forest must be upgraded to the most current version before you can
upgrade Exchange". Do I need to demote the 2000 box, then load Exchange 2003
for the Exchange piece of AD to show up on my new 2003 DC?
Thanks.
